| Urethane Polyesters
are weatherable finishes with excellent
physical properties. Appearance is best
at thin film levels (3.0 mils or less),
and can be somewhat temperature sensitive
in the cure cycle. Typical applications
include appliances, reflective lighting
fixtures and some lawn and garden products.
Cure cycles are 10-15 minutes @ 375-400F.
Continuous service temperature should
not exceed 180F, and intermittent 220F. |

| Polyester Urethane yields highly decorative powder coatings suitable for application to product exposed to direct sunlight. This type of coating is not suitable for thick film applications above four mils. Polyester Urethane powder coatings produce exceptionally smooth finishes at lower film thickness. This type of coating is applied to patio furniture, automotive trim, truck bodies, architectural extrusions, fire extinguishers, wire cloths, lawn and garden equipment, fencing and related items. |
