These coatings use a "Primid" type curing agent, developed in the late 1980's as an alternate to TGIC curing systems. There was some concern, early on, about TGIC exposure (primarily in powder manufacturing plants) which was soon proven not to be an issue. These coatings are used on a decreasing basis, primarily due to appearance issues at heavy film thicknesses.
